PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows xp home
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:Adware.P2PNetworking (WebP2pInstaller.dll)

I have some adware called Adware.P2PNetworking.
I have run AD-AWARE SE PERSONAL, and SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY and WEBROOT SPY SWEEPER, but none of these programs remove it. I have also run norton virus scan which is where it first showed up, but this can not remove it either.
I suspect I got it when I installed kazaa? I have fully uninstalled kazza but still the problem remains.
I have attached a screen shot of the result of the norton virus scan, which tells me that the delete failed. It also tells me where the file is. I have gone to this location but can not identify the file. I have run a virus scan in this location again, and the adware shows up, but as I say when I look in the file I can not find it. I do not want to delete the wrong thing.

Can anyone please help me?

Thank you.

Hi...
Please download Ewido Security Suite and do a scan in Safe Mode

 Install Ewido Security Suite.
When installing, under 'Additional Options' uncheck: "Install background guard" and  "Install scan via context menu"

To open the main screen double click the icon on the desktop.

You will get a warning 'Database could not be found!'.(only if no updated have first been installed) Click OK.

Update to the latest definition files. On the left of the main screen click Update. Then click on Start Update.Let it complete the updates.

Now Click on Scanner and Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will start.

During some scans  it may find cases of false positives so you will need to step through the process of cleaning files one-by-one.

If a file is detected you KNOW to be legitimate, select None as the action. Do NOT select 'Perform action on all infections'

If you are unsure of any entry found play safe and select None as the action.
Press the button marked Save Report

Save the report .txt file to your desktop or somewhere you can find it.Post it back with a scanned HJT log.

Thanks.
I have downloaded Ewido and removed the problem.
I am now considering paying for the full ewido program. Would you recomend it? Is it better than Webroot Spysweeper etc.

Thanks.
