PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows xp home
Problem Application Name & Version:C/documents & settings\family\application data\SU
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Dell
Error Messages:


AVG scan says I have Trojan Horse Generic AUN embedded.

Cannot find info. on seriousness/solution.

Only basic computer knowledge; can anyone help please?

hi
have free avg, 2 viruses are regulary picked up on scan but neither gets erased or sent to the virus vault. 1]Trojan horse Generic.AUN.
2}java/verify.please could any one advise.

Hi Guys,

Are you both the same persons? Schizophrenia?

If not... koijohn has to start a new thread using the same instructions I'm about to give Chris.

Download HiJackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer.  
Double-click on the file you just downloaded.
Click on the "Unzip" button to install the newer version.
It will by default install to the directory - C:\Program Files\HiJackThis\  
If it gives you an intro screen, just choose - Do a system scan and save a logfile.
If you don't get the intro screen, just hit [Scan] and then click on Save log.
Post the HiJackThis.log file
