Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:geforce4 mx440 64mb sdr
Error Messages:



hey there
postin this for a friend
currently using on board grafix but recently bought a geforce4 mx440 to improve quality.
cannot get system to recognise card (symptom is no output to monitor) but fan runnin on card so definately connected
switched bios setting from on board to pci (only other setting available although card is agp)
also tried switchin irq address off
tried other grafix card and symptoms same

Hi,

Is it possible that the system was very dusty and when inserting the new card, some dust got pushed down in the AGP slot?

Also make sure the card is well seated in the AGP slot.

Card was inserted and re inserted....also tried out other grafix card but to no avail
