Since this "general discussion" forum said it could be about computers or any other subject, I am asking what various readers think about cable tv versus satellite tv.  Presently I have cable and like it because we have 4 tvs in our house, (kitchen, bedroom, familyroom and livingroom), and we watch them all at various times during the day.  The one cable box handles all of them, although just one tv is on the full package.  Apparently with a satellite dish, you have to rent a box for each television...this can become costly.

Any ideas out there?  Have any of you tried both methods and decided which is better?

My grandchildren keep telling me how much better a dish is, because you get so many more channels, but honestly.....how many channels does a person really need!!

Thanks.
