a nice website to get all of your pc or noyebook supplies are http://www.newegg.comhttp://www.tigerdirect.com these are good sites where you can find lots of notebook part and accessories then if they are to pricey search the product you have chosen on google and it is likely that you will find a place where it is very cheap.

hope this helps you

NewEgg and Tiger Direct do not give you detailed instructions on how to build your own laptop. But the link I gave you states this
quote:
ABS represents everything DIY and beyond. With the tools we provide you, you can build your mobile system from the bottom up using your own two hands. We provide you with all the parts you need and an easy step-by-step process to help you build your dream mobile machine in the comfort of your own home or office. We have also provided you with Notebook DIY bundles that consist of a barebone and recommended components to go with that barebone. If you have any questions or would like to speak with a trained professional to assist your decision, please email us at customercare@abs.com or call us at (800)-685-3471.

I think you should get some schooling to learn the Archictecture first.
