Operating System Version: Windows 2000
Problem Application Name & Version: Access 97
Problem Hardware Make & Model: N/A
Error Messages: can't be started.  was unable to intialize the windows registry.  Rerun Microsoft Access or Microsoft Office setup to reinstall.

We have 5 computers that need Access 97 and Access 2000.  They have all been working fine with both versions for a few years and last week we started having problems.  It seems that this error message comes up every morning.  The problem is resolved by reinstalling Access 97.  If the computer is restarted during the day they do not have problems however if the computer is shut down over night they can't access their Access 97 database again and receive the error message listed above.  Any help with this would be appreciated.  I know Access 97 is outdated but unfortunately upgrading the database is not an option at this time.
