Windows Me,Dell,Penium3 1ghz
on boot msg:invalid boot disk,insert boot disk in a:
Hard drive crashed,installed new seagate 80gig hd,first with seagate install wizard,reinstalled win me,rebooted and get msg for boot disk in a:Called seagate they advised i reformat using fdisk and then reinstall win me which i did.Win me is there on the new hard drive but the only way i can get to it is with the win me cd in the cd drive which gives me the option to boot to cd or hard drive.Have tried disabling floppy,different ribbon on floppy makes no diff.what i do,with no disk in floppy or cd drives it boots to a: asking for boot disk.My bios setup is cd 1 hd 2 and floppy last
