PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows 2000 SP4
Problem Application Name & Version: Palm Desktop
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Palm TX
Error Messages: N/A

I installed Palm Desktop logged in as User with Admin rights.  I then changed User's rights to Power User and when I try to open the Palm Desktop it freezes at the splash screen.  I gave User rights to the Palm folder in Program Files also and have the same response.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Just in case anyone else is having this problem I've found a solution.  Login as the user with Admin rights and give them rights to the HKEY_USERS key in the registry.  You can then change their rights to User or Power User and palm desktop works properly.

Ended up buying an XPS 13 when they were on sale for 1400, and will just upgrade my desktop for gaming
