Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:
My computer has been whirring really loudly and it sounds like a dying animal or transmission.. I opened up the shell and vacumed all of the dust out from the fan but it has not helped the problem. Could there be something wrong with the hard drive spinning mechanisim...also I seem to have lost a large amount of disk space and I can not find the files that are responsible for its loss

Hello
sleepypunk1111
, Welcome to MyTechSupport.ca
That doesnt sound good
Find the manufacturer of your hard drive and run their
Hard Drive Diagnostics Utility.
If indeed your drive is failing this would explain the loss of disk space
