PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:xp
Problem Application Name & Version:avg current version
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop
Error Messages:avg7dos.lng creating file changing lanuage to 67698688 failed general failure

Had problem with my avg so I deleted it and tried to install latest. Keep getting above msg. I have rebooted and restored, didn't help.

This is an installation issue.Suggest you try AVG Forum.http://forum.grisoft.cz/freeforum/index.php?0

Thanks for the quick reply, I was using avg since I was introduced to it by one of your folks. When the problem came up on my laptop I started looking for another and found Avast. I've been only using it for a few days, but it looks to me to be a even better program than avg. Do you know anything about it?Huh?
