PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Win XP Home

Hi guys i have got this message coming up on my monitor it appears instead of it going to a blank screen when my mouse has not been touched for a while.

It also comes on when i turn my pc off instead of shutting down the monitor.

Any help would be great.

I am not familiar with this message, Google had nothing on this mode either. Do you not have a screen saver enabled? When you turn off your pc normally you have to physically push the button on the monitor to turn it off it will not turn off automatically. How old is the monitor?
Have you checked the buttons on the front of the monitor for answers?

Hiya thanks for the response.

I have checked my monitor all it has got on it is like a wheel button that you press and then rotate it to select the settings you want, and an on off button.

I rechecked my setings for my screen saver etc and they all seem to be ok. my screen saver comes on as normal then after a while this aging mode thng appears on the screen.

As for my monitor turning off when my pc shuts down mine used to do this but now this aging mode screen comes up and i have physically turn the monitor off.

Connect the monitor up to a different computer or visa versa connect the pc to a different monitor to see if you get the same results

Happy Christmas to you.

Now the answer to the aging mode problem has sorted itself out, my monitor actually went and died on me on the 20th of december so i guess that was a warbing to get a new one.
Luckily we had a spare one upstairs but its only a small one and it dnt seen the same.
I will have to sweet talk my good wife and see if she can let me get a new one.
