I bought a used maxtor 120gig hd,it worked great until one day I defragmented it,before defragmenter finished (got to about 75%) the computer either shut down or restarted and the hd was not detected, turning the pc off for 5 minutes or so and turning on again it detects the hd but lately it does the same thing when defragmenter is not used,,,any ideas?
