Boy...do I feel stupid.  My Microsoft Standard Wireless Optical Mouse that I've been using since Sept/05 is just now showing signs that it may be time to replace the battery.  But how in the devil do I remove the battery cover!  The instruction book says:  To open its battery compartment, you must press the silver button located below the Microsoft logo.  Pressing the button releases the battery cover on top of the mouse, allowing you to insert the battery.  I've done a lot of pressing, but nothing seems to pop open.  I'm scared to pry or force anything.  HELP PLEASE.

Please ignore my posting above.  I guess I was just a little nervous prying at the underside of the mouse.  The instructions seemed a little unclear and I thought I might break something.  I phoned the store where I purchased it (they weren't open yesterday), and the guy told me to just pry it open...which I did...and the batteries are fully and easily accessible.   Shocked
