I have something called mssearchnet.exe that I can not get rid of. It is sending me constant pop-ups and even sometimes takes over my home page. I have tried getting rid of it in sage mode but it always comes back. Here is a fresh log, any help would be great.

It looks as if you have already removed stuff from the log Huh?

Look in Add/Remove for a program called "Spyaxe".Remove if there,then...

Download smitRem.exe and save the file to your desktop.
Double click on the file to extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.

Open the smitRem folder, then double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.

=================================

Run a full scan here with Ewido and run CCleaner

Yes I did get rid of some things by mistake. Sorry about that. I ran the smitrem and the ewido and the ccleaner. The spyaxe was not in my add/remove programs. Here is a fresh log.

I still am getting pop-ups on my desktop. And I still have a little yellow triangle in my taskbar that is telling me I still have spyware on my computer and it is telling my I need something called spy-sherriff. I still have something in my system32 folder called mssearchnet .exe . I'm not sure what to do now. I have run out of ideas.

It looks like whatever you done it did not clean it in the first place..

This file mssearchnet .exe will need to come out.

Open Windows Explorer and delete the following highlighted file/s if they are present.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchosts.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\1024
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mssearchnet.exe

Run HJT and fix this item..

O2 - BHO: HomepageBHO - {27150f81-0877-42e9-af13-55e5a3439a26} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp9C06.tmp

------------------------------------
Remove these two hightlighted keys from the registry

NOTE ::::Always back up your registry before making any changes. The easiest way to do this is to select the entry that you are going to delete with your mouse and go to File and choose Export. Call it any name that you like (selected branch should be pre-selected) and then send it to a New Folder on your Desktop as a reg file. If you have no further problems, rightclick on the New Folder and delete it. Do NOT doubleclick on a .reg file unless you want to put it back in your Registry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]

Now I am getting a message that says I have iworm_attack_v122.02a an internet trojan. Should I go ahead with the other fixes and see if they take care of it or should I do something else first. I just want to make sure I do things in the right order. My home page has been taken over by something called security station. Here is new log. I just wanted to make sure that I am doing the correct things for my problems in the right order.

I did what I could. The file C:\Windows\system32\svchosts.dll was not there. svchost.exe was but I left if alone since it was not exactly what you said. Then I ran Hi-jack and the BHO that you wanted me to delte was not there but a different one was. So here is a fresh log.

Recommended Protection Programs

Now that you are clean, to help protect your system I recommend that you get the following free programs:
SpywareBlasterto help prevent spyware from installing.
SpywareGuard to catch and block spyware .
IESpy-Ad to block access to malicious websites so you cannot be redirected to them from an infected site or email.
WinPatrol to monitor any changes that programs make to the registry.

If you do not have a firewall, here is a free one  for personal use:

ZoneAlarm
