PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: win98se
Problem Application Name & Version:n/a
Problem Hardware Make & Model:canon bjc265sp
Error Messages:nil

When printing in landscape mode, using a black cartridge text and line are jagged. (The bottom half is not under the top half). I have been told to align the printhead, but I cannot find any way of doing this. I cannot find a print head alignment utility on the net. Can someone please give me a solution to my two problems!

Hi,

If Canon had that option it would either be part of the software installation provided with the printer or built-in.

SELF TEST
All printer models have a built-in test function called a "Nozzle Test Pattern". A PC is not required to perform this test, which makes it an excellent way to identify whether a problem lies with the Printer or PC.

The procedure to activate this test varies between models, please consult your user's guide for the Nozzle Test procedure for your printer.
