My only computer is a hp pavilion ze5400 laptop, running XP on a Unisys wireless network in my apartment.  When i power it down or restart, a couple of error messages display.  The first says

End Program - HPQTRA08.EXE

this program is not responding....

and the system waits until I hit the end program button.

Second one says

End Program - INVITE

but this one disappears after a few seconds, and the computer continues on to shutdown and restart.  I associate these messages with having installed a HP Photosmart 2710 wireless printer some months ago, but am not sure that they're related.

Obviously, these are minor annoyances, but I fear that they may be related to something more troublesome.

thanks

Before we start working on the system, I recommend heading over to Security & Viruses and read the three stickies at the top of that forum.

Then post a new thread in there with a HijackThis log and wait for the boffins there to read through it. When and if your system is clean, post back here and we can try tackling this from a different angle.
