Hello i have having soem real problems here, I used to have an old version of SonicStage installed and now i havr bought a new mp3 player and tried to install an updated version of sonic stage, but during the setup process i get an error which reads "An error occured during a seek operation" and then the setup tells me it has been terminated. I have already checked the hardrive for the sony folder and deleted it. I really need this installed unless my Mp3 player is useless! Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

Have you tried to uninstall the old version of SonicStage?
That's something you should have done initially and then install the new version after the old was gone in the correct manner.

What operating system are you using?
Did anything else happen during install?

w00t u can close this post now, i read up on this and found that even if a user has admin rights you stil have to log in as the admin to install this for some reason so i stuck it in Safe mode and installed in admin user mode and all went smoothly. Also it said that a lack of free RAM may not let the install proceed so i guess in safe mode minimal RAM was being used.
