Hi, I was wondering if someone might be able to help. I archived photos and video clips, not to mention various incarnations of my website over the years. Recently I decided to look back through my stuff. But to my horror, when inserting discs containing important backed up files, the discs were showing up on my screen as empty, or ready to record on. But when I inserted the same discs into my DVD player, the files showed up and I was able to browse through the images on my TV. When I then tried again on my PC, the original problem ocurred. What can I do, I know the files are there, I just can't acess them on my PC? I have two dvd drives, the top one (the main one) is a writable drive. When I tried putting a disc in the bottom DVD drive, the top drive disappeared from the listing in MY COMPUTER.

Would you mind telling us what your Operating System is?

How old is the OS installation?
