Hi,

Ive noticed occasionally that my system starts to crash, systems, one by one lock up and wont re-open, i have to restart.

Upon restart i see an application called WindowsFormParkingWindow, ive looked into this and im led to believe its something to do with a program trying to overwrite memory allocated to the OS.

Anyone know how i can sort this out as it is causing me a headache with all the freezes and re-starts.

cheers

Get Hijack This. Post the log of it.

I'll move your thread over to the caring hands of Pancake & Katalyst. If they can't find anything strange enough, they can move the thread back to the Windows forum.

Hi
I would tend to go with this first paragraph and the link within it...

I think your best bet is to drop into the Windows Operating forum and see what they can come up with.

Move the thread back then, please, Pancake. I'd already moved this one from the Windows forum to here, to check for nasties. So if nothing is found, please move it back and I'll see what further I can come up with. Smiley

okay thanks, im re-bumping this because the system is on a slippery slope.

The crashes are far more often and it sometimes struggles booting, occasionally the taskbar locks and i cant open the start menu, access background programmes or get at my shortcuts.

9/10 i find it will crash if i am browsing.

I can repost my HJT log if you like, im really stumped on this, i have tried loads of different programmes and they all come back smelling of roses, but it really stinks.

Cheers VERY much in advance
