Can someone please help me?! My daughter made a password on her emachine computer. And now she can not remember what it is.  So we can not get to the computer desktop. Does anyone know how to get rid of the password or even get on the desktop because we don't have another screen name and our computer is stuck. Please Help. If anyone can help please email me at gl_fan_4ever@yahoo.com

It's easy enough if the other user account has admin rights.

All you need to do is to right click My Computer and select Manage from the list.
Then select Local Users and Groups and in there open up the Users folder.

Now right click your daughter's screen name and select Set Password.
Now create the desired new password and confirm it and you're all set.
