Anybody hear anything about the upcoming Windows Vista which is apparently due to be released this year sometime?

Wonder if it will be that much better than Windows XP.  Maybe it's not smart to buy something that new, until it's been on the market for a spell.

Any opinions?  I wonder how it will differ from Windows XP?

Thanks.

Geekgirl:

Thanks for your good advice.  The computer tech that fixed my computer problems Wednesday night, told me the same thing....not to jump at Vista when it first comes out...but to wait til all the glitches are fixed.

My computer is once again, purring like a kitten.  I think I will plug along with Windows ME until the Fall, at least.  My printer problem RTL hypoid is fixed.  I don't think I could have done it on my own.  The tech reinstalled the printer or some such thing.  And I got rid of Norton and replaced it with something that works just as well....(I hope  Huh?)

Have a nice day and thanks again.
