Thanks in advance for reading this and helping Smiley

I have 2 computers.  1 running winXP with an IDE drive (2 SATA connectors on the MB and 2 IDE channels)

The other PC (the problem PC) has 2 SATA Drives, i am assuming they are set up as RAID ( i dont know much about RAID)

I am wanting to hook up the SATA Drive(s) to the working computer that has IDE channels and SATA channels on it so I can transfer the data from the SATA HDD to a working computer to make a backup.

I loaded the drivers into the system and it went through correctly.  Device mamager will pick up the SATA Drives and show them as F: and G: but when i try to access one of them, it says "Drive is not accessable" and when I access the other one it says "this drive is not formatted, do you want to format it? Yes or No"  No just takes me back to My Computer and Yes brings up a format option (which I have not done)

Is there anything I can do to get the data off these drives?   I will eventually format/partition the SATA Drives once I get the data off them .
