Just installed a new mother board   "MainBoard / Socket A / 7KJD"   and 256mb ddr ram, all purchased from computer store, and I get nothing but a beeping noise and a blank monitor and everything else turns on, what have I done wrong???

I purchased the new board and ram because my old board was sd ram and out of date, all that one did would turn on and show a blank screen also.

I did transfer the processor over to the new board but like i said now i have just a beeping noise and blank screen. please HELP ME IM GOING NUTS! email   IAMJ2EVIL4U@AOL.COM

Seems the cpu may be the culprit. The new board supports an  AMD Athlon and Duron socket A processors up to XP2200+
What CPU did you use?
Look over thes BIOS Beep Codes to narrow down the beep code
