First of all, I just read the forum rules and I certainly don't want my name removed from this wonderful support group.  Embarrassed     The rule states:  Any posts containing advertisements will be deleted. If the member posting advertisements persists in posting them, his/her account will be deleted

So I hope that the following information is not considered advertising....I don't think it is, but today on The Shopping Channel they are featuring Dell computers.  I think it's interesting.  You can see all the things featured by Dell and this would allow you to better compare all the different brands....both price-wise and feature-wise, should you be considering buying a new computer.

Since the repairman was here last month and got my Windows ME working so much better, I guess I won't rush out and buy a new computer right now, but I am definately considering a new one within the next 6 months or so.   I really think I need Windows XP....at least.  So I am always interested in reviewing all the different makes.

Have a great day.

Since you're not selling anything or advocating buying from the Shopping Channel, I don't consider this as advertising. In fact, since this is the "Buying Advice" forum, any source of information that may help others in making a better purchase is welcomed.  Grin

If you find the info valuable then for sure someone else will as well!

Cheers!
