Hi there everyone here is my problem that I'm having..

Video is glitching in the games that he is
playing why is happening and how do I fix this
problem please help?

Here are some information about my computer that might help..

Intel P4 2.8ghz

80gh hard drive

NVIDIA Geforce 6600GT 128mb videocard.

I'm running windows xp pro w/sp2

So what I'd like to know is what can I do to fix this problem please help.. Please e-mail me back with FULL detailed information on how to fix this problem at btopcomp@shaw.ca

could you please tell us what gomes you are trying to play there are certain requirements for certain games and you could be missing them thanks

Additionally to Sherlock19's suggestion, I recommend you tell us which driver you're running for your graphics card.

Also, how did you install that driver? Did you install it straight over the old one or did you use some other method?

Sherlock19: The games that I was trying to play are NHL '06 and some other games I can't remember.. No i uninstalled the old drivers and installed the newer version drivers..

Say how do you find out on what version of drivers that I'm currently using?Huh?

Go to Control Panel -> Display
Then select the Settings tab and click the Advanced button.
Next select the tab that features the name of your gfx card, in my case it's GeForce 7800GS

the attached image shows you where to look for the gfx drivers.

I'm using Forceware 84.21, you could be using something older.

NHL 06 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

OS: Windows XP or 2000
CPU: 1.0 GHz or faster
RAM: 256 MB or more
Disc Drive: 8x or faster CD/DVD drive
Hard Drive: 1.7 GB or more free space
Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible
Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible
Input: Keyboard, mouse, or dual-analog gamepad

Video card with 32 MB or more memory and one of these chipsets is required: ATI Radeon 7500 (64MB), Radeon 8500 or greater; NVIDIA GeForce 2 GTS or greater; Multiplayer requires 1 set of discs per PC and a 56 Kbps or faster connection.

Internet play requires Internet Explorer 6.0.
