My computer keeps on shutting down after it starts or sometimes if i am lucky it stays on up to 20 minutes. im thinking that my computer has a virus or something. im at my aunts house so i cant post up my hijackthis but anyone have a clue why my computer is doing this? After the screen goes blank, my monitor's fan whirls really loud and it doesnt start back on. does anyone know how i can fix this or do i have to call the fixer? ill post the hijackthis when i have a chance at home

It does sound like an internal problem, not a virus.
It could be over heating thats causing the shutdown.

You could post a HJT log here when you have time so that I can just check its not malware.

Download HijackThis.  It will create a directory folder for you in C\Program files. Run a scan and save the log file.  Post the whole log file here.  Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required).  This program will help  determine what,if any, spyware/malware is on your computer.
