the address bar on the internet explorer doesnt work. whenever i type an URL into the address bar and hit enter, nothing happenes. whats wrong?

I would be tempted to visit Windows Updates, if only to make sure that everyting works as it should. Update everything that the site wants to do for you.

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Use the Custom update button and select everything that the site can offer you. Reboot after the updates have been installed and then try again until the site has nothing more to offer.

Then see if the address bar is still messed up and report back Smiley
