Windows xp pro sp1

Hi hope some one can help: the problem is I keep getting 2 short cuts from these web sites placed on my desktop http://www.spywarenuker.com/?hop=mindswn1.trekblue8
And http://www.internetwasher.com/get/itnowbas.php?mset-dkt1_itnowms any ideas how top stop this?

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that you may have mistakenly downloaded their software, because when I clicked on the link it asked me if I wanted to download software.
My suggestion is that you look for files with those names, or parts of those names, and when you find them, delete them.
If that doesn't work, use an anonymous email account (to avoid getting spammed at your home account) and write these websites and ask them how to delete it, OR just look on their website for a "how to delete" link.
There are also spyware software you can get to eliminate all kinds of spyware. Look at downloads.com for well-rated ones. Some of them, apparently, are spyware, themselves, but some are not.

Thanks all I installed the spyware software and it seems to have solved the problem it got rid of a lot of krap.
