There are two web sites that I go to that have started shutting my internet down with "Click to run Active X."  The only thing I'm allowed to do then is click OK and the internet goes down.  I'm rather new at this, so any help would be awsome!

Hi and Welcome to MyTechSupport.ca

Some are saying this is caused by a Microsoft update. Go to Add/Remove Programs uninstall the KB912945 update. It is NOT a critical update, therefor it is not needed.

In this thread, this fix was given: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=70120

Click on Start, All Programs, Windows Media Player. Click on the downward arrow near the minimize icon. Click on Tools, then Options, then File Types. Click on Select All and OK.
