AMD ATHLON 64 3200+
WIN XP HOME
MSI MS-6741 MOBO
2GB DDR-SDRAM

Problem: In the last couple of weeks, computer has been very sluggish in completing tasks.Used to be able to breeze right thru opening and closing things (even 2 or 3 at a time) now, even after restart a task like emptying norton protected recycle bin cause long hesitation. When clicking alt control delete,it shows in performance graph cpu 100% yet in the process list all zeros.
Also since installing and configuring a wireless router and linking to my other computer, web sites open very very slow compared to before on this pc but on my other one its normal opening.
Anybody have any ideas?

My pc now is great.

Running norton system works since 2002 now,,never caused a problem concerning cpu usage.
Idle process seems to hit 99 quite frequently when checking using alt, ctrl, delete.
