Why does my message show a lock on the right hand side?  Does this mean no one can respond to it? How did I get it there?

This thread has a lock icon on the right of it.  I see it on my end anyway. Does it not appear on yours?

I tried logged in as admin, a normal user and logged out and the icon is all the same, no lock.

Can you post a screen shot?

i think that they are talking about where the user can choose to lock their own thread..
it only appears on the threads i create..

I think also that it is only an option for the users either to lock it or not....
