I expect this is old hat to all you experts, but I got very frustrated with games almost stopping and everything moving in single frames. Having tried everything I could find on the web I noticed after defragging (I use disklite) that there was a great big chunk of red which did not get defragged. It was about 8% of my H.D. which was pretty full with onlly about 11% free space. reading the notes I found it was drwtsn32.log, a text file which apparently records all the errors that occur on the machine. I located and deleted it and now have my fast machine back with 29% free space.
