Hello everyone, I really, desperately need help here before I rip all my hair out of my scalp.

So a few weeks ago the internet on this computer had started acting up and I figured it was time for my wireless network card to hit the dust. So yesterday I got a wireless USB and a new router (which is yet to be installed though). But the new usb card (or whatever it's called) hasn't fixed the problem. Now I'm wondering, could it be the router or could it possibly be my system?

Details:
1 Host Computer with a linksys wireless wrt54g router connected to a cable modem.
1 Laptop in my brother's room.
1 Computer in my room (the one that's having trouble)

They're all winxp and only my computer seems to be having this problem. Usually what happens is the internet starts working fine for 20 minutes or so and then all of a sudden no more webpages are able to load. It says I'm connected to the network and the signal strength is "good", so what can the problem be? I'll post a hijackthis log just in case that's of any use.

edit:
By the way, the only way to fix this issue so that the internet starts working fine again (for another 10 or 20 minutes) is to replug the router (unplug then replug the power supply).

You can open HJT and fix these 2 entries

 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=gen        R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=gen

Other than that I see nothing malicous in your log.

Rebooting the router seems to help but not resolve it completely. When you do this you should also reboot the modem along with the router.

Have you connected the other router to see if the issue is still present?

Thank you for the reply Geekgirl.

I have fixed those two entries, I'll be sure to post back if I still have problems. The new router should be set up tomorrow. I've been very busy with college these past few weeks.
