I am having an issue where my connection is great, but after awile the activity slows down.  In many cases, if I renew my IP, the connection stregthens for awile and then eventually does the same thing.  My ISP said there is no problem on their end.  I bought a new network card and there has been no change.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you also change your network cable, when you changed NICs? How do you connect to the internet? Through a router? Anyone else using the internet connection? What kind of internet is it, xDSL or Cable?

This is a one computer setup, no router.  It is a cable modem.  The modem, network cable, and NIC card have been changed.  It is very weird.  If the computer is restated or if the modem is reset, the connection is great, but only for a limited time.  A connection is always there, but the speed is terrible.  The ISP said everything is fine on their end.  I feel it is spyware or something with XP.  Please help.  This is very frustratring.

This is a error I see quite frequently in the event log.  Also, I believe it is an upload issue.  When I download a file, the file is downloaded very quickly.  But, when I am online, the webpages creep and my online gaming is impossible due to lag.  Please help!!!
