Hi, I did a virus scan on my laptop and I had nearly 1300 infected files, with worms and trojans....It's now saying I have no infected files, but there's still weird programmes running on my laptop, and when I go to turn it off, it's saying that it's closing programmes I have never heard of. Could you please have a look through my Hijack this, and see if I still have any infected files please. Thanks xXx

Hi..

Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\Program Files\MsConfigs\MsConfigs.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\p2pnetwork.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\CMD.COM
C:\WINDOWS\system32\netstat.com
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ping.com
C:\WINDOWS\system32\regedit.com
C:\WINDOWS\system32\tasklist.com
C:\WINDOWS\system32\taskkill.com
C:\WINDOWS\system32\taskmgr.com
C:\WINDOWS\system32\tracert.com

Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".
Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

After the reboot run HijackThis again. Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [p2p networking] p2pnetworking.exe

Reboot once more and post the resulting HijackThis log.

Thankyou!! Much appreciated Shocked)  The only other thing is, I installed true vector zone alarm a while ago, and I have deleted it because it wasn't working properly, but it still keeps opening a page saying true vector has encountered a problem and had to close, I have deleted all the files I can find regarding the programme, but it's still there somewhere...could you please tell me how to completely remove it? Thanks Shocked)

This should fix it for you...

Go to Start > Run and type

cmd

and OK. Type the below commands and hit "Enter" after each line

sc stop vsmon
sc delete vsmon

Type Exit to close.

Then run HJT and remove this entry;

O23 - Service: TrueVector Internet Monitor (vsmon) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\vsmon.exe (file missing)

Hi again, sorry to be a total pain in the butt Shocked(  I did what you said, and it's still there....also, I have numerous programmes open on my task manager that it won't let me close, and I have looked on the net, and apparently they are trojans and or worms....the programmes I have running are :
alg.exe
services.exe
isass.exe
csrss.exe
smss.exe

Can you tell me if they are harmful, and if s, how to do I remove them....thanks again. I have posted the last HJT log too.
