I have been trying to adjust my active X controls so I can get a browser window link, but now I get only half a page and is blank. What are the Active X Controls suppose to be set at? I have Windows 98 and IE 5.

A quick Google search typing in Active X controls came up with this URL which I think will answer all your questions. Hope it helps.

Hi jig,

Can you please reply to this thread and not start a new one! This is the third thread your started about the same problem. If you need help on using the forum, please let me know.
Thank you

Now about your problem, go to:
1. Tools > Internet Options...
2. Go to the Security tab
3. Click on "Internet" icon
4. Click on "Custom Level..." button
5. In "ActiveX Control and Plug-ins" section, set any options that are "Disabled" to "Prompt"

Also verify if there are sites in the "Restricted Sites" icon on the same page
