OK my daughters pc is one of our old computers.  Low ram
but was always ok for her use.. Lately it has said that
there is no memory left and This was not the case before.
The same program she has used is now not accepted.
Why would this happen?

Hi,

If an error stating the system is low on system memory occurs, this is usually caused by too many application loading stuff in memory. If running Win9X or higher, try running is "Diagnostics Mode" to see if problem persists.

Use "Diagnostics Startup" to troubleshoot Windows

If error is stating the system is low on virtual memory, your hard drive may be almost full and the swap file (used as virtual memory) cannot grow. Un-install unused applications from the "Add/Remove Programs" from the Control Panel.
