Hi there everyone,

I've just bought my self a Alpha Shield X2 hardware firewall, then a Linksys Etherfast  Cable/DSL Wired router, and What I'm having problems with is I can't seem to connect alphashield to the router correctly? So I was wondering if anyone on here can please help me out with a full detailed picture on how I should connect it to the internet modem? This is how I currently have it connected right now..

Modem > alphashield (internet port) > then from alpha shield I use the PC port to the internet port of the router, then #1 port to the computer...

is this correct? I've tryed everything This is my very first time using alpha shield & a router...

Please e-mail me back with full detailed information.. That would be very much helpful!!

The firewall is designed to be placed between the cable/DSL modem and router, or to be placed as the intermediary on the network to a specific computer, in order to add an additional layer of security.
