I bought a 160 Gb external hard drive from simple tech.  The part number is sti-usb235/160.  Basically the drive will not work at all.   I have contacted Simple Tech's customer support and have sent the drive back twice already.  When I turn it on nothing happens, and in the device manager, when you click on the drive under the usb controllers, it says error code 10, device could not start.  I have tried all the drives on 3 different computers, a dell windows xp desktop, a dell windows xp laptop, and a dell windows vista desktop.  I have heard Simple Tech is a good brand and they have been very good about returning the drives,  but all I want is an external hard drive that works.  If anyone knows what the problem is, I would be very appreciative.  I have no idea what it could be with 3 drives on 3 different computers.  Thanks.

No. It claims you just plug it in and it works.  "Plug and Play installation"

So am i just out of luck?  I mean, I've had 3 drives already, what are the chances that they were just all ****py?  Surely the company wouldn't sell something that didn't work at all.
