Okay so a few weeks ago. Everytime I went to the mircosoft windows website my computer would shut down. And said it shut down because a serious error. so I reinstalled windows. And I thought it worked. but then today it did it again. (didnt shut down because of mircosoft website though)When I restarted it and got back online it said this..

Unrecoverable hardware error.

suggestions:
1) Back up your files to avoid date loss of a complete hardware failure.
2)Contact the orginal manufacturer of your computer to determine the specific compment which is failing.

Problem probably caused by one of the following:
Random Access Memory(RAM)
System Board
Central Processing Unit (CPU)
Power SUpply

so yea... Im not sure what caused it. And I dont know what to do. I dont know exactly what the problem is..but I just want to fix it. IF anyone knows how please let me know and thank you.. Huh?

Hi and Welcome to The forum,

Heres some things to try

Find the manufacturer of your hard drive and run their Hard Drive Diagnostics Utility.

Try  Windows Memory Diagnostic Test
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

The Windows Memory Diagnostic tests the Random Access Memory (RAM) on your computer for errors. The diagnostic includes a comprehensive set of memory tests. If you are experiencing problems while running Windows, you can use the diagnostic to determine whether the problems are caused by failing hardware, such as RAM or the memory system of your motherboard. Windows Memory Diagnostic is designed to be easy and fast. On most configurations, you can download the diagnostic, read the documentation, run the test and complete the first test pass in less than 30 minutes.

Or you can try memtest

Try a different power suppy that is compatible with your system specs
