Hope this is the correct forum for this.  I had a shortcut on my desktop called Outlook Express and when I clicked on it, my mail site opened immediately.  Then I decided that it would look nice if I put it in a folder on the desktop...it would be yellow and show up easier...so I right clicked and created a new file and called it MAIL and dragged Outlook Express over to it.

Well, I thought that was great...until....I tried to open my mail...and now instead of being taken directly to my mail, I am taken to a file and have to click on it...in other words I have added a second step to open my mail.

How can I get things back the way they were, before I got this stupid idea?

Please remove this post because I fixed my problem.  My grandson told me what to do....open the folder, right click and move it back to my desktop the way it used to be.  I just couldn't seem to figure out something so simple  Grin

I'm not sure if this is how I remove a post, but I hope so.

Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to air my problems!
