Ram issue
«

Hi I have recently built a computer using the following configuration:
Gigabyte motherboard - GA-2CEWH
2 x OPTERON 270
2 x Kingston KRX3200AK/2G Kit
Asus Geforce 7600GS 512MB
2 X 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 16MB
ThermalTake 700w Toughpower PSU
Then I raided the hard drive to "stripe".
then split the drive in 2 and put xp pro and Vista Ultimate on it.
problem is with the ram, when I put all 4 ram modules in to the machine( two modules in each bank) the computer starts to boot up but when it gets to the point when it is supposed to say starting windows it reboots it's self and remains in a cycle.
but if you put in one kit (one module in each bank) it runs fine.
now the modules are 1Gig each (total 4Gig) but the motherboard is supposed max out 24Gig
Please Help

I recommend checking out for a new BIOS upgrade for the motherboard, to see if that helps your problem. If it doesn't, then you might want to test the modules one at a time. See if you can spot a faulty one. Then report back with your findings.
