It just wont turn on. It turn off last night for no reason.  I tried changing power cords, (from main power supply box).  Is it the CMOS battery? HELP

Hi,

The CMOS battery will not prevent the system from powering on. It may prevent it from booting if the hard drive parameters are lost.

If the power cord is plugged into a power bar, is anything else in it working?

Do you get a burnt smell coming from the back of the case?
