Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

I have a problem with a drive. The problem is I can't transfer data from my harddisk to my diskette. The error says something like disk protected. I did make sure that the diskette is not disk protected and try many other diskette in case my diskette spoit. It is still the same error mesg. But, the odd thing is the a drive can read what is in my diskette and also the data from the diskette can transfer to harddisk but not the other way round. Should I buy a new a drive? Thanks.

Hi,

Is the write protect tab opened or closed on the floppy disk?

It should be closed to write to it.
