I was working on my computer and used TUT to boot into safemode. I recieved an error that my windows xp installation was invalid (from files removed clearing a virus not TUT) and was logged out of the system. I ran a repair on my xp installation and needed to reboot and finish replacing the files.  Now when the computer reboots it boots into safemode (to finish the TUT boot I think) but the windows repair can't finish in safemode so it logs me back out and reboots.

The thing I need to know is what file TUT uses to cause the system to boot into safemode or how to stop the windows repair.

The thing you should do is to try to stay in Safe Mode for a bit and check your MsConfig setup.

Click Start->Run and at the prompt type msconfig and hit Enter

See if you can find anything that's forcing you to run it once under the startup tab.

Another place to look, if you find nothing there, is to go to the Services tab and look for TUT there. If you find it there, uncheck it and then try a reboot.

Report back with how things went.
