I have tried a search and have not been able to see this topic or perhaps I am not wording it properly.

When using outlook express, I want  to   NOT  have the > show when I forward an email.   In  hotmail you have that option.

I get a little buzz when I receive email in outlook if the program is Minimized.  I want to put another sound in , Ring wave file  , but dont find where that option is.

Thanks

Hi,

1. In Outlook Express 6, click:

Go to Tools -> Options
Click on the Send tab
In the "Mail Sending Format" section, click on the "Plain Text Settings" button
Uncheck "Indent the Original Text with..."
Click OK
Click HTML Settings
Uncheck "Indent Message on Reply"

2. Look in the Control Panel under "Sounds and Audio Devices".
Go to the "Sounds" tab and in the "Program events" section, look for "New Mail Notification" and change it.

Cheers!

Thank you so much. I had not clicked on that last tab where  I saw the uncheck option.
