Hi all,

I am trying to setup a small network for a friend and I am running into a few problems and have some questions.  My friend insists on using a domain so switching to a workgroup is not an option... at least for now.  Anyways he has 1 NT4 server, 4 WinXp clients, and 1 Win98SE client.

My question is:  Can WinXP clients be used on NT4 domains?

If so, what is the proper procedure in setting up the domain on the NT4 server?  And how does one configure the WinXP clients?

Thanks,
Bogdan

Xp Professional can be joined to domains, however XP home edition can only be used in workgroups. So if you would like to use a domain, then you need XP professional.
