It sounds like you've cleaned out your history, whether it's accidental or not I can't say.

This is why it's a good idea to bookmark all your favourite websites and visit them from your favourites/bookmarks dropdown menu.

Check to see the lifetime of your history, if it's the default 20 days or something else.

Also try a different browser and see if you have the same problem on that. A couple of good places to visit for a different browser are www.opera.com and www.firefox.com

Good luck

Hi,

many thanks for reply.

the default is set at 20 days the problem persist.
But as you suggested I check with Opera, the drop menu memorizes the histoy as it should.
However, i still don't understand what happening with the other browser.

The next port of call is whether you've swept your computer with any spyware or virus cleaning programs recently.
If you have, then there's a good chance that it has messed up your IE history settings.

There's also the chance that you have a malware infection in your system and that would mean you need to seek help from my good friend Mr. Pancake in the Security and Viruses forum.

Good luck Smiley
