 :(outlook express spelling language is set to french in the tools/options ? how do i set it to uk as the pull down menue is only for french any help would be helpful as my spelling isnt all that

To be honest, I have no idea how to change it, but I'd recommend using the Mozilla Thunderbird instead, due to it's much greater security.
You can let it import all settings from OE, during install, and then your spell checking problems are history.

The reason for my not knowing the OE settings, is because I ditched the use of that program many years ago, in favour of more secure email clients, and Thunderbird is one of the most secure out there.

Though if the only option you have in tools/options is French, then I'd be inclined to think that your version of OE is indeed French only. Something you should be able to correct by making a quick visit to the Microsoft Updates website.

Go to Tools/Options/Read/ Fonts/ International and change it there
