hi group , thanx for all previous help

current peeve involves viewing several pages of useless 'forward' information ( addresses , times , other stuff )before i get to the message or site or image .

have been on thunderbird web site for awhile and could find no clues for help

attached is brief example of what i want to suppress or delete or disintegrate with an illudium space modulator

The problem is not with your client, but with the idiocy behind the forwarding of the relevant email.

The people who are forwarding their messages aren't trimming them down at all, but just forwarding them indiscriminately, not even considering that it might be annoying to have to wade through 10 pages of forwarding information, before getting to the bit that actually matters.

I'd suggest you send an email to your regular contacts and ask them to trim their forwarded messages before sending and cite your reason for it.
